Modern World Data Ltd started trading in November 1998. Mike & Pam Williams-Davies, Directors, plus other staff, work hard to supply a friendly and professional service to all of our clients and customers.

Modern World Data Ltd supplies a wide range of specialist IT equipment for blind and partially sighted people and offers sales, service, training and backup on all of its products.

We are now based in Dolgellau which is in a beautiful part of Mid Wales. From our new offices by the River Arran we cover the whole of the British Isles and still offer a personal and responsive service wherever and whenever possible.

Our staff have over 54 years experience in the Education, Training and Adaptation of equipment and resources for those people who have a visual impairment. Mike was Director of Technical Resources at the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford for 21 years. Pam, as a qualified and experienced teacher of nearly 30 years standing, taught children and young people with a visual impairment for 15 of those years.

We joined forces in 1998 to start this Company and drew on our experience so that we could offer our customers the products most suited to their needs. This has produced a formula that appears to work well!
