Premier Programming Solutions are proud to introduce two products from their Venusoft range -

The SCAN & READ LITE and the SCAN & READ PRO.


Both products are low-cost, high performance OCR packages. Both packages have a built-in speech engine with 17 different voices.


The voice and speaking rate can be adjusted on the fly. Increasing or decreasing the speaking rate is as easy as pushing a key. In fact the entire system is designed for single-button processing. This means each major function can be done by pressing one key! Pressing F5, for instance, will retrieve the image from the scanner and convert it to text ready to read.


There are no settings to worry about! The program is auto correcting - to give you optimal Object Character Recognition. The program will determine how your paper is positioned in the scanner and will automatically rotate the image for you. You can put your paper on the scanner any way round you like and even on a skew.


You are not limited to just scanned images, with SCAN & READ LITE you can open existing files and read them. It works with most standard word processors. With SCAN & READ LITE you have two views available - text only and image. The image view allows you to see what the scanner sees.
